IATA Released COVID-19 Air Travel Statistics

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has reported 1.2 billion passengers have travelled on airplanes since the start of 2020, with 44 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported, probable or potential transmission associated with a flight…this equates to 1 in 27 million.

IATA also reports that most of these 44 cases happened before mask-wearing or biosafety measures were put in place.
