Hyatt to Cut Elite Status Requirements for 2021

World of Hyatt, the hotel company’s loyalty program, will reduce its requirements for elite status by 50% for the 2021 calendar year. Additionally, World of Hyatt is extending several reward offers through the beginning of 2021, giving members more time to accelerate point earnings and boost tier status when they are ready to travel.

For 2021, members can achieve elite status either by staying half the number of nights or earning half the number of base points required in a calendar year. For example, a member can earn top-tier Globalist status by staying 30 tier-qualifying nights or earning 50,000 base points in 2021 and can start enjoying commensurate benefits.

In addition, members now have through February of 2021 to take advantage of several offers, including Bonus Journeys, Free Nights on Sale and Dine Local, Earn Triple Points — with registration required for each by Jan. 15. Learn more and register here.
